You call that a ham sandwich? Take it away at once!

thanks to noura for this one...
*a major medical discovery*

it's times like these that my frustration with civilization's insatiable technology quest becomes quelled. i feel a little proud, and i feel a lot of hope.

going to pick up leslie tonight. we haven't seen eachother since i got back to chicago. maybe i need to hire a personal assistant to get my duties done so i can actually see her. any volunteers? i can pay you in fertile soil.

everyone cross your fingers for my VIPhone call this week.

sarah miller is making the trek up here! i think i finally convinced her over christmas that she needs to spend more time around the awesome-and-powerful Busty Sinclair. a whole armada of people seem to think that january and february are prime times to visit, so i'll be housing people like i'm running a bed & breakfast.

i finally figured out how to burn dvds. i'm making copies of a bootleg video of the entire madonna tour that sarah, jessica, melissa, and i attended...anyone else that might be interested: speak now or forever hold your peace. i also bought a dvd player. no more mini dvd rigga-ma-roo.

phyllis, my philodendron, now has friends!

she is accompanied by a fellow philodendron and an asparagus fern. however, the new philodendron got a little sunburned sitting on a wall mount above the radiator, so he's shifting around the apartment finding his niche.

these have been, by far, my best winter purchase. i bought these columbia boots (sans yellow and grey) and NEVER in my life have i had warm dry feet in the winter. i <3 you columbia.

COINCIDENCE? i think not.

it's 2005, bitch.
leave it to chicago to supersede the dick clark special with thier own wack programming. local news is ridiculous. however, it did not ruin christmas, despite all those close-call beer spills. (or new years, for that matter.) :P quite an adventure coming home surrounded by all the mass hysteria on the streets and the girl puking all over some helpless chick on the train. ew.

josh is coming up tomorrow! whoo-hoo! he's doing an interview with vnv nation at the metro and spending some time kickin' it here. should be a blast. he'll get to meet leslie and all you other chicago punks.

i need milk. rather, i need money for milk. who'd like to donate to my grocery fund?

oh my.
if this movie isn't fucked up, i don't know what is.

home sweet home.
made it back to chicago in one peice, in a matter of speaking. i'm sick as a dog, like all you other sick puppies out there. damn white horse rider. trying to muster up the energy for a summary, but you all can get the picture with these three random items:

3. sage-burning.
2. Seabass on the lawn.
1. heart-to-hearts.

that should do.

oh yes...and now for something completely different:
